2025 Finnished
I pulled together some numbers from 2025 and wanted to share what I've been up to.Â
Worked on 18 Projects
Some of these 18 were also finished in 2025, some were not. One of them is a bigger "grouped" project that has multiple garments in it, but I'm tracking as one project. I've been decently good at keeping track of my projects on Ravelry if you want to follow along there.Â
Clocked 473 Hours of Knitting
I use Toggl Track to keep tabs on how many hours I spend knitting (and on other projects). This year it tells me I spent 473 hours knitting. There are 8760 hours in a year, and we're encouraged to sleep 8 hours per night (2920 hours), which leaves 5840 hours of time awake. That means I spent 8% of my waking hours knitting. Not too shabby.Â
Translated 34 Patterns
I translated 34 patterns for several designers. Mostly from Finnish to English, and a few from English to Finnish.Â
Created 38 Designer Spotlights
I published 38 Designer Spotlights on my blog and corresponding posts on Instagram and Facebook. I'm looking forward to doing even more in 2026.Â
Wrote 14 Blog Articles
I also wrote 14 other articles on my blog, including 4 lessons for Sock School.Â
Facebook and Instagram Fun
Between Facebook and Instagram I connected with a lot of folks virtually, and even saw some of them in real life!
Fulfilled 549 Orders
I fulfilled 549 orders which includes packages, PDF patterns by email, and purchases made in person at fiber fests and knitting guild nights.Â
Sold 1560 Products
Those 549 orders added up to 1560 products. I'm looking forward to increasing these numbers in 2026, and getting more of these awesome products out into the world.Â
