Ch-ch-ch-changes!

Social media reminded me that I created my Facebook and Instagram pages four years ago this week. Initially it was to have a dedicated space for posts about my knitting hobby. I also added an Etsy shop because I had several people ask if I would sell my pieces.

Over the next year Finnished Knits grew into a full business. I set up an LLC, ordered inventory from a supplier, and started selling yarn on my website. It's been a wonderful adventure so far, and I'm excited to see what the future has in store.

Changes

Over the last few years there have been plenty of small changes and tweaks: I've added new products to the selection, I've added services, I started Stitch Sessions, and more. There is SO much going on, that I've actually realized I need to streamline a few things. Nothing huge, just some adjustments and tweaks to make the behind the scenes run a bit more smoothly.

Starting in September, I'm going to be sending my newsletter monthly rather than weekly. It takes a bit of time to put one together, and I feel that I can provide much richer content if I'm not feeling rushed to push one out every week.

Designer Spotlights

I will still be creating a Designer Spotlight each week and posting it on my website and socials. I've recently started sending a separate email each week with just the Designer Spotlight, and I plan to continue sending that one. Product Retirements

I also want to simplify my inventory a little bit. There are a few yarns that I'm going to retire from the selection, which means you can get what I have left at a discount. All of these yarns have been reduced in price.
