Designer Spotlight - Jamie Lomax

If you haven’t seen the designs from Jamie of @pacificknitco, I’d like to know what the rock you’re living under is made of. I hope it’s gneiss. Her signature product, the Doodle Decks, are a collection that just keeps on growing. Mix and Match the designs to your heart's content for the perfect knit.
I will have the opportunity to meet Jamie in person this week at h+h Americas. I’m quite excited, but have to keep reminding myself we have a parasocial relationship, and she doesn’t actually know who I am.
Check out what she has to offer:
Basic doodle patterns: I created a bundle of all of Jamie's basic patterns for cowls, socks, hats, mitts, and more which can all be customized with the doodles. They can, of course be made in a solid color, but they're more fun with all the doodles.
Doodle decks are playing card sized decks of cards with patterns you can mix and match within and between decks. There are five options of base decks: One of standard geometric doodles, and one for each of the four seasons. Each core deck has 51 doodles and 2 illustrated schematics, and a "How to Doodle" instruction card.
Chart expansions are digital doodle sets with all kinds of fun designs in different themes. Each expansion deck includes 24 doodles, 2 illustrated schematics, and a "How to Doodle" instruction card. They're available as physical cards or digital downloads, and range from sports to pets to baking to travel to potatoes and cheese.
Destination decks are sets inspired by locations around the world. Each set includes 13 designs, 2 illustrated schematics, and a "How to Doodle" instruction card. They range from the Pacific Northwest to sunny Spain.
Almost all of the Base Doodle patterns are designed for DK-weight yarn. Mainio is a fabulous selection for these projects, with 23 base colors to mix and match with the doodles. There is a pattern for Doodle Socks in fingering-weight yarn, and for that you can use Sulo, which comes in all the same base colors.
If you're having trouble deciding which colors to start with, you can just order yourself an Ultimate Colorwork Kit, and get one of each color.
