Designer Spotlight - Sanni Pauliina
Sanni Pauliina of @sannila_
Sanni has been publishing patterns since 2020, and has created a gorgeous collection of knitwear designs. She loves to create designs that are relatively simple, but still have something extra for interest.
Sanni’s aim is to transform nature into knitting. She creates rustic knits with little thoughtful details. She loves to explore different fibers and wools, and even wrote her thesis on Finnish landrace sheep breeds.
Part of Your Story
Part of Your Story is a triangular shawl with various textures and slip-stitch patterns. It was originally the first Sannila Designs shawl knit along. There is a ton of variety in the pattern, so you're sure to stay engaged the whole way through.

A Journey Away
A Journey Away is cuff-down sock pattern with a forest themed colorwork and a lovely texture that reaches all the way to the toes. The design has a a textured contrast color French heel. The pattern has two sets of charts, one for screens and a second for printing.

Kulkuri
Kulkuri is a top-down stranded colorwork sweater with a design of twigs and berries around the yoke. There are also small colorwork accents on the hems and cuffs of the sleeves. The body is straight with optional bust darts, and there are three sleeve lengths for customization.
