Just a heads up: Many of the pattern links in Designer Spotlight posts are to Ravelry. I recognize the site isn't accessible to all. To find alternate sources for the designer's patterns I encourage you to check out their Instagram linked at the top of the post.

Designer Spotlight - Yarnflakes

Audrey Borrego of @yarnflakes

Audrey lives in the southwest of France and creates beautiful designs with colorwork and lace. Her goal is to bring confidence to knitters through her patterns.

Audrey's collection has a lot of variety: socks, cowls, sweaters, cardigans, shawls, pillows, and more. She also hosts an MKAL every fall. And if you miss the KAL, you can get the pattern whenever it fits your schedule.

Flora Sol

Flora Sol is a boomerang type asymmetrical shawl with eyelets and a bit of texture for interest. It has the length of a crescent shawl, and the depth of a traditional triangle shawl. Versatile in options for wearing as well as appearance depending on color choices. Two muted neutrals can be combined for a soft, marbled effect, or you can choose colors with more contrast for a color-block style. The shawl will be just as beautiful in a single color, too.

Xyris

Xyris is a light tee with a graphic lace design on the back. The front is a solid stockinette, and the top is knit in the round all the way up to the arm holes. A loose fit and a simple shape makes this tee a great mid-season top.

Ceramic

Ceramic is a long infinity cowl That is knit in the round as a tube, and grafted together. The colorwork design inspired by ceramic Azulejos tiles, which are Spanish and later principally Portuguese tiles produced from the 14th century onward.

Tramea

Tramea is a triangle shawl that is worked top down. The slipped stitch construction creates an eye-catching pattern while only using one color at a time. Textures throughout the shawl create additional visual interest.

Yarns for Tramea

Tukuwool sock is a unique Finnish sock yarn spun and dyed in Finland with Finnish Wool and with biodegradable polyamide. The sport-weight yarn is an 80/20 blend making it durable, and the colors are stunning

I've created a bundle of Tukuwool Sock for the Tramea shawl in order to make ordering easier for you.
