June and July Donations
Share
The June and July sales proceeds are combined because I was on vacation and summer sales are slower anyway.Â
The Proceeds
In May, digital pattern sales totaled $46.17. After I pay the designers their portion, I am left with $19.33. The transaction fees from those orders totaled $3.35. Which leaves $15.98
Now that we're at the end of summer and heading into fall, I'm expecting pattern sales to start going up. Â
The Donations
Since the May donation was also pretty small, I decided to make the June/July donation also to Loose Ends, an organization that matches volunteer handwork finishers with projects left undone due to death, illness, or disability to ease grief, create community, and inspire generosity.Â
Loose Ends
The idea for Loose Ends came about when the founders, Jennifer Simonic and Masey Kaplan, both avid knitters, realized they had a shared experience: Friends would often ask them to finish blankets, sweaters, or other projects left undone by deceased loved ones.Â

I made a $15 donation to Loose Ends from the June/July pattern sale proceeds. I also made a contribution of $2.55 to Zeffy, the processing company for a total of $17.55.

The more digital pattern sales I have, the more and bigger donations I get to make. Â
