March Donations
Here are the details of donations made from March pattern sales.
The Proceeds
In March, digital pattern sales totaled $69.49. After I pay the designers their portion, I am left with $27.80. The transaction fees from those orders totaled $4.35. Which leaves $23.45
The Donations
Since the sales were a bit lower, I made just one donation. Most charities have a minimum donation amount (or at least a preferred minimum), because of transaction fees.Â
Immigration Legal Resource Center (ILRC)
The ILRC seeks to improve immigration law and policy, expand the capacity of legal service providers, and advance immigrant rights. They train attorneys, paralegals, and community-based advocates who work with immigrants around the country. They inform the media, elected officials, and public to shape effective and just immigration policy and law. Their staff works with grassroots immigrant organizations to promote civic engagement and social change.
I made a $25 donation to ILRC from the March pattern sale proceeds.Â
Hopefully Pattern sales will bounce back in April, so that I can continue making donations to multiple organizations.Â
