Poisonous creatures or a subtle message from the sock wearer? Interpret it as you wish.
The socks are worked in stranded colorwork from cuff to toe. If desired, you can add duplicate stitch detailing on top of the finished colorwork to color the roses, their petals, and the markings on the spiders' backs.
Feel free to color these socks as you like. Blood-red or rainbow-colored roses? Which one is the most avoidable?
