Haltivanttuut is a knitting pattern for felted mittens inspired by the highest point in Finland. They're knit cuff to fingers with an afterthought thumb. There are three chart variations to choose from for the stranded colorwork motif.
**This is a digital pattern, there is no physical product included**
The 9-page long PDF-pattern includes clear charts, written instructions, and photos.
Designer: Neulova Kettu, Finland
SIZES
Size 6-7 (with 5 mm/US 8 needles)
Size7-8 (with 6 mm/US 10 needles)
INSTRUCTIONS
The pattern contains 3 charts: a heart, a unisex, and a two-colored chart. Knit from cuff to fingertips and lastly felted in the washing machine.
The size can be adjusted by changing your needle size and during felting. The multi-colored mittens’ cuff will be quite dense and if you have a wider wrist I recommend using 0.5 mm larger needles on the design at the bottom.
In two colors the mitten is softer and stretchier in the cuff, too.
