Mabon is a pagan holiday and one of the eight Wiccan sabbaths celebrated during the year. Mabon celebrates the autumnal equinox at the end of September. It is a harvest festival, when we focus on giving thanks for everything received and experienced, and letting go of the unnecessary and useless. The name Mabon comes from the Welsh God, who was the son of the Earth Mother Goddess.

This knitting pattern is for mid-calf socks. They're made with DK-weight yarn, a nice medium weight option.
