Stitch Discovery Scarf

The Stitch Discovery Scarf is a beginner knitting pattern designed to help you learn the basics of knitting. it starts with the knit stitch, which gets practiced for several rows. Then you add a purl stitch and practice that.

Each section of the pattern adds to the previous, and it gradually teaches the basic stitches and some of the most common increases and decreases used in most knitting projects.

This pattern is much more detailed and verbose than most patterns in order to be helpful to beginners. You can also repeat any section for additional practice and to make the scarf longer.
