Viva la Vida Socks
The Viva la Vida Socks were originally published in the Finnish knitting book called ‘Villasukkabuffet - Toinen kattaus’. It was a wonderful collaboration between several Finnish knitwear designers and contained spectacular, unisex-themed wool socks for a wide range of tastes. Now the pattern for the Viva la Vida Socks is also available as an individual pattern, as the book has already been sold out.

The 15-page long PDF-pattern includes clear charts, written instructions, and photos for short leg and long leg version, as well as two different calf and foot widths.

Foot size: EU 38-39 (41-42) / US Women's 7.5-8 (Men's 8.5-9.5)
Leg Length: In longer version leg length (including the cuff and heel) is about 40 cm / 15¾
in. In shorter version leg length (including the cuff and heel) is about 21 cm / 8¼
Upper calf circumference: Narrower size suits best for about 37–39 cm / 14½-15¼ in calf. Wider size suits best for about 41–43 cm / 16¼-17 in calf
Needles: 2.50 mm / US 1.5 (5 double-pointed needles)
Yarn: Fingering weight 260 m / 100 g (284 yd / 3.5 oz), Lankava Sulo
Gauge: 32 stitches and 34 rows in stranded knitting = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in
