Bronagh’s catalog of designs includes shawls, sweaters, socks, and more. Each with beautiful details of lace, cabling, and colorwork. Many with a combination of these.Â
Wayward Path
Wayward Path is a soft, lacy, fringed scarf that is perfect for learning and practicing steeking. It is knit with bulky yarn, and the design has a section of stockinette that will be steeked. In this design you are meant to let your stitches unravel, so it's perfect for a first steeking project.
Lankava Lempi is a great option for this project. It is a bulky weight 100% wool yarn that's soft and squishy.Â
Hamilton Handwarmers
Hamilton Handwarmers are fingerless gloves with a fun, cozy texture. The pattern is written to fit medium to large hands, and there tips for making a smaller size. The medium weight yarn means they will keep your hands warm, but won't be too bulky. And of course, you'll be able to use your devices with ease.Â
The design is created for DK-weight yarn, which means you can choose any of the 23 solid colors of Lankava Mainio yarn. The superwash/polyamide blend means they will be durable and easy to care for.Â
Off Kilter
Off Kilter is a lovely shawl designed for a single skein of self-striping yarn. The design provides for a relaxing knitting project, helping you get back to an even keel when you feel a bit, well, off kilter. In November 2024 Bronagh designated it as a Dementia UK’s Knitting Challenge Month pattern with all proceeds sent to charity. Â

Seasalter Scarf
Seasalter Scarf is a single skein scarf inspired by seascapes and rippling waves. It is knitted in two sections and grafted together so that the ends are symmetrical.Â
The new Novita x LAINE Signature 4 PLY is a beautiful choice for this project. It's a gorgeous blend of Falkland Island wool, Bluefaced Leicester, and Bluefaced Kerry Hill, and comes in 18 fabulous solid colors.Â
Yarn for Off Kilter
Viking Nordlys is a great option for this project. It isn’t a traditional self striping yarn, the color changes fade from one to another over longer stretches. Which will make this pattern look fabulous. Â
