The Shop Is Open!
I've done it! I've opened my own little shop on the internet.
As I've mentioned before that I miss the yarn in Finland. Beautiful bright colored, thicker weight wool and polyamide blend yarn. So many of the projects I've made call for yarn like this.
So I decided to do something about it.
I ordered inventory directly from Finland, from Lankava, a manufacturer founded in 1925. They have a wide selection of yarns and materials for various craft projects. I would love to be able to carry everything they offer, but I've started with a narrower focus.
Mainio is a DK weight yarn. There are approximately 260 meters in a 100-gram ball. It is made of 75% superwash wool and 25% polyamide. This means it can be machine washed in warm water if desired.
Lysti is an Aran-weight yarn. There are approximately 200 meters in a 100-gram ball. It is made of 75% superwash wool and 25% polyamide. This means it can be machine washed in warm water if desired.
Both yarns are available in a variety of beautiful colors. I'm also looking forward to adding other awesome products to the selection.
